Iowa families who qualify for the Healthy Kids Iowa Pilot Program get expanded access to additional food throughout June, July, and August, such as fruits, vegetables, dairy items, grains, and proteins.

What is Healthy Kids lowa (HKI)?

Healthy Kids lowa (HKI) expands access to children facing food insecurity by providing boxes of nutritious foods, such as fruits, vegetables, dairy items, grains, and proteins.

How many boxes can I receive?

Families can receive one box per month, per eligible child.

Who is eligible to receive HKI boxes?

Households with children aged 4 to 18 and that are TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) eligible.

When can I pick up my HKI boxes?

Clients will be able to pick up their Healthy Kids lowa boxes during normal pantry operating hours.
