There are many ways you can help us to make a greater impact. Learn how here.
Congress’s latest budget reconciliation bill includes deep and harmful cuts to vital food assistance programs like SNAP, impacting millions across the country, including right here in Iowa. As food insecurity rises and more families rely on food banks and pantries, this decision is a painful setback. Yet amid the disappointment, there is hope. The largest advocacy effort in Feeding America’s history, powered by thousands of voices, stood up for those in need. In 2024 alone, Iowa’s food banks distributed over 60 million meals, a record that reflects both soaring need and unwavering community resolve. We are not giving up. With your continued support, we will keep fighting hunger and offering hope.
We need your help to make sure policymakers understand the importance of protecting access to food. No one should go hungry, and budget cuts should never come at the cost of our most basic need. Speak up with us to ensure everyone has a seat at the table.
