The ideal Program Data Services Coordinator for the Northeast Iowa Food Bank understands and is passionate about the organization's mission to provide nutritious food and grocery product to those in need in our 16-county service area. This individual will be a vital component of the Food Bank's leadership team by providing over 6.6 million meals annually to the over 31,000 food insecure people in northeast Iowa. As the Program Data Services Coordinator, this team member must demonstrate outstanding management, organizational, planning, and implementation skills in order to optimize Food Bank processes and develop new opportunities that support the Northeast Iowa Food Bank's strategic plan. This individual will possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with program partners. This individual will be able to interpret and prepare for presentation to stakeholders. The Program Data Services Coordinator must have a strong sense of initiative to continually develop and improve Northeast Iowa Food Bank Service Insights program, data integrity and relations with Food Bank partners.

The responsibilities of the Program Data Services Coordinator include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Enhance and implement an on-boarding & training program to promote the use of Service Insights programs by both agency and program partners, as well as a system to document and track training progress.
• Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide written and verbal ongoing reports to senior management.
• Maintain responsibility for the integrity, performance and security of the databases in the Organization, as it relates to the Program Department. Manage record maintenance and clean-up. Collaborate, as necessary, with management and program coordinators to resolve data entry issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain database performance by troubleshooting and resolving problems, for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to data and report requests, filter and ‘clean’ data to ensure optimum report generation and correction of code problems.
• Work in partnership with the Community Programs Supervisor, Children’s Program Manager and Programs Development Manager to assist in selecting Partner Agencies and Mobile Pantry sites in northeast Iowa to participate in Service Insights.
• Serve as liaison between the Northeast Iowa Food Bank and program partners to establish and maintain effective and positive working relationships.
• Participate in the Service Insights Focus Group to help develop and implement a plan for the network rollout of the Service Insights software and ongoing programming.
• Provide platform specific user support, basic technical support to users, and deliver information to agency and program partners in a friendly and timely manner.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures set forth by the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in accordance with Feeding America standards, AIB, local, state and federal regulations.
• Greet, train and supervise volunteers as well as share the mission of the NEIFB; provide general guidance of projects; assure proper training of volunteers to include specific jobs and safety concerns. Communicate frequently with volunteers to ensure they are satisfied and appropriately placed.
• In instances of a federal, state, or locally declared emergency, NEIFB is typically considered an essential service and emergency responder; all of its employees may be called in to perform regular or emergent duties
• Other duties as assigned.
Required:
• 4-year degree and/or comparable experience in customer service, human services or project organization
• Must be have advanced skill in spreadsheets and proficiency in database software and word processing
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, delegate, and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Culturally competent, ability to work with diverse groups and individuals
• Ability to work nights and weekends
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, current vehicle insurance and ability to use personal vehicle for Northeast Iowa Food Bank business
• Willingness to travel (within 16-county service area) with access to viable and dependable transportation

• Experience with nonprofit organizations
