The annual day of service is a partnership between Northeast Iowa Food Bank, UNI, and Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley. All these organizations and groups come together to partner with and support the work started by the Volunteer Center of Cedar Valley and the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. Our annual Pack The Dome: Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service event will take place on January 19, 2026 at the UNI-Dome. This day is dedicated to pack food for our BackPack Program. Last year, we had 1,200 volunteers and packed nearly 80,000 bags for children across northeast Iowa.
