Hunger Action Month

Hunger Action Month is dedicated to raising public awareness and inspiring action to help our neighbors facing hunger.

September is Hunger Action Month! During this month we work with the public to raise awareness and inspire action to help people facing the impossible choice of hunger. For many, a daily meal is a simple choice of what to eat. But for people facing hunger, a daily meal poses a very different type of choice. It's often an impossible choice between food and other crucial needs such as electricity, childcare, or medicine. Join us and local businesses throughout the month by advocating, volunteering, and getting involved in feeding our neighbors.

September 23, 2022 is Hunger Action Day where we wear orange and share with our community how hunger affects our neighbors in need.
